Shri Ajeet Kumar Agarwal Chairman & Managing Director & Director (Finance) Mr. Ajeet Agarwal assumes additional charge of CMD, REC Limited. Ministry of Power, Govt. of India has assigned additional charge of CMD, REC Limited to Mr. Ajeet Agarwal, Director (Finance) w.e.f. 6th March 2019 till further orders. He will succeed Dr. P. V. Ramesh, who will be joining National Archives of India as Director General. Mr. Ajeet Agarwal has been Director (Finance), REC since August 1st, 2012. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with more than 35 years experience in Public Sector Undertakings. He is responsible for formulating financial strategies and plans to enable REC in achieving its vision. He is actively involved in Financial Management and Operations of the organization encompassing organizational and financial planning, formulation of financial policy, financial accounting, management control systems, cash and funds management, tax planning, mobilization and management of resources, liaison with financial institutions and capital market players. He also supervises treasury functions, lending operations and advises on corporate risk management matters.
Dr. P. Shakil Ahammed, (IAS) Sr. Executive Director, REC Dr. P. ShakilAhammed, an IAS Officer of 1995 batch of the Assam &Meghalaya cadre has joined REC on deputation with effect from 21st Nov 2017 as Sr. Executive Director for handling the coordination of implementation of various Government programmes. He has rich and varied experience of handling projects/assignments in various sectors which include Education, Tourism, Skill Development and Information & Public Relations. Prior to joining REC, Dr. Ahammed was working as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation where he was in-charge of the Horticulture Mission for India. Dr. Ahammed has worked in several capacities with various departments/Offices such as Director in the Prime Minister Office, Director Tea Board, in the Indian Embassy at Moscow, apart from having handled several prestigious assignments for the Govt. of Meghalaya.
Shri Sanjeev Kumar Gupta Director (Technical) Shri Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, is the Director (Technical) on the Board of REC since October 16, 2015. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pant Nagar, Uttarakhand. He has 34 Years of experience in Indian Power Sector across diverse functions i.e. Planning, Design, Construction, O&M, Project Management of large EHV Transmission system, Financing of Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Renewable Projects, etc. in various power CPSU’s, REC, PGCIL and NHPC.
He has been working in our Company since March 16, 2010 at Senior Management positions. He also served as the CEO of REC Transmission Projects Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of REC, as well as the nodal officer for the National Electricity fund (NEF). He is responsible for all Technical functions and Business Development of the Company.

Mr. T. S. C. Bosh, Executive Director (DDUGJY) started the career as lecturer in Electrical Engineering and has 26 years of work experience in Power sector. He had worked at various levels in REC, particularly heading Project Office (Chennai & Patna), Zonal Office (Central Zones - Odhisha, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh) and Central Institute for Rural Electrification (CIRE) Hyderabad. He had worked as GM for over 6 years looking after varying subjectâs viz. Quality control of the Rajiv Gandhi GrameenVidyutikaranYojana and subsequently.

Shri G. S. Bhati Executive Director , REC Ltd. Mr. G S Bhati Electrical Engineering graduate in year
1984 from Govt Engineering College of Rewa Madhya Pradesh and MBA in Project Management and also Energy
Manager (BEE). He was X batch ENGG EXECUTIVE TRAINEE in NTPC.
He worked in power project's erection, testing and commissioning for 20 years.
He left NTPC in 2006 and joined REC. He was business head of Gujarat state for 4 years,
for northern states of J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi for 3 years.
For past 3 years he is in REC corporate office. Involved in policy guidelines of RGGVY and DDUGJY schemes,
looking after DDG PROJECTS, three tier quality monitoring of DDUGJY scheme, also he have prepared standard
bidding documents for RGGVY XII plan and now DDUGJY & IPDS scheme. He is also a member in committees
responsible for 20% high value key sub-transmission and distribution materials under DDUGJY and IPDS
scheme (70000 cr app). Also nodal officer for IITM UDC projects.
